KSA Parks Foundation Formed to Aid Fundraising

KSA formed The Kingwood Service Association Parks Foundation so that people could make tax-deductible contributions that improve and expand our parks.

Already, we are in negotiations with one developer who may donate significant acreage adjacent to one of our existing parks.

The foundation is also launching an initiative called Friends of Kingwood Parks. Those who become Friends will receive complimentary bumper stickers, t-shirts and/or baseball caps. Wearing them proudly will help raise awareness of the need to support our parks.

The foundation has also developed the Memorial Tree Planting Program which gives people an opportunity to create a lasting, living memorial to loved ones.

Finally, the foundation is working with the KSA parks committee to explore creating a fall event that would allow everyone in Kingwood to show their support for our parks.

Come back to this site for more information throughout the summer.

The officers of the foundation are:
Dee Price, President
Bob Rehak, Vice President
Richard McGucken, Secretary
Ray Anderson, Treasurer
