For decades, KSA has served as the steward of Kingwood's entries. After the reconstruction of US Highway 59, KSA partnered with TxDOT to renovate the entries.

Through KSA, Kingwood CAs, residents and businesses contributed almost half of a million dollars to this effort for construction. They also contribute another $94,000 per year toward maintenance – on both sides of US 59 at Northpark Drive and Kingwood Drive. KSA has maintained all eight quadrants at both intersections for more than 30 years.

Recently, HCA/Kingwood Medical Center requested KSA's support in buying land owned by TxDOT inside the old entrance ramp that is adjacent to the hospital. The hospital wants the land to expand its parking lot and relocate its heliport closer to the emergency room entrance, but it would mean cutting down the trees on the corner.
